By early 2011 plans were coming together to decommission the original church building and replace it with what we know today as the Community Life Center. This new project underscored St. Stephen’s mission to reach out to the community through ministry to children and youth and the gift of music.

The new building was dedicated in August 2012 and the stage was set to “let the little children come” by offering formal education in our new early childhood center called Stepping Stones. Stepping Stones opened its doors in Fall 2013.

In the ten years of Stepping Stones the school has grown to have over eighty children each school year from birth to four years old. Stepping Stones has become an important part of our mission and outreach to the community and serves as a faithful partner in the church’s work.
